TheProProject Third Annual Summer Copa is here!
Official Details, Rules, and Regulations
WHEN: Saturday August 16th, 2025 10AM - 3PM
WHERE: Woburn Memorial High School - 88 Montvale Ave. Woburn, MA
TEAMS: We will accept a maximum of 12 teams. Each team must have a minimum of 8 players and are allowed a maximum of 4 current TPP players. Teams will be coached by TPP coaches and TPP Alumni including players currently at Duke, Wake Forest, Stanford, Boston College, University of Virginia, University of Maryland, Northeastern, and more.
FORMAT: We will play 6v6, with 5 field players and one GK per team. There will be 3 groups where each team will compete in round robin fashion. Games will be 20 minutes in total, split into 2 x 10 min halves. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage.
PRIZE: Trophy and $50 gift cards for each member of the winning team to TheProProject swag store.
GAME MUST END IN GOAL - Upon conclusion of the two 10-minute halves, the teams shall enter an untimed period whereas the official winner will be determined by the first team to reach a predefined target score. The Target Score will be defined as one more goal than the leading team’s goal tally after the two halves For example: If Team A has 6 goals and Team B has 4 goals, the Target Score ™ will be set at 7 goals and the Teams will play until a team reaches 7 goals. If the Teams have the same score after the two 10-minute halves, the official winner will be declared by the next team to score During Target Score Time, if a goal is not scored in the first 2 minutes, 1 player from each team will come off resulting in a 3v3 game. Then, every incremental 1 minutes after that, another player will come off to result in 2v2, 1v1 until the targeted number of goals are met to end the game and declare a winner.
There is a $50 registration fee to enter the Copa. All teams must include TPP players, with a maximum of 4 allowed per team.
